BodyTite

BodyTite is a minimally invasive body contouring procedure that uses
radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) technology to tighten skin and reduce fat.
It is an ideal solution for enhancing and tightening skin affected by aging, stretching, or weight loss. It is commonly used to address excess fat and loose skin in various areas of the body. This advanced technology delivers superior body contouring results, previously only  achievable through more extensive surgical procedures. With minimal downtime, one can achieve surgical-like results without the need for large incisions or extended recovery
periods.

    Treatment Areas

  • Abdomen: to tighten loose abdominal skin and remove excess fat, often caused by post-pregnancy changes or weight loss
  • Arms: to target “bat wings” or excess skin and fat on the upper arms
  • Thighs: to enhance contours and reduce sagging skin and fat in both inner and outer thighs
  • Flanks (Love Handles): to address stubborn fat deposits and tighten skin around the waistline

  • Buttocks: to lift and sculpt the buttocks area
  • Back: to treat excess fat and loose skin on the upper and lower back
  • Hips: to enhance the shape of the hips and reduce fat deposits
  • Knees: to help improve the appearance of sagging skin and fat around the knees

How does It Work

Bodytite gently treats fat in stubborn areas while contouring the skin, helping sculpt the body into its ultimate shape. A specialized BodyTite handpiece is inserted under the skin through small incisions. This handpiece emits controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy that heats and liquefies excess fat cells, making them easier to remove during the procedure. Simultaneously, a thin cannula is used to gently suction out the liquefied fat, effectively reducing fat deposits in the targeted area.

What to Expect During Treatment

WHOW Aesthetics typically combines liposuction and Morpheus8 RF Microneedling with BodyTite treatments. Clients get the benefits of minimally invasive radiofrequency-assisted skin tightening (BodyTite) with traditional liposuction to achieve more comprehensive body contouring. In addition, Morpheus8 RF enhances extra skin tightening and promotes remodeling of sub-epidermal adipose tissue. Here’s what happens during this combined procedure:

  • Consultation - Before the treatment, we provide a thorough consultation with our
qualified physician to discuss the client’s goals, concerns, and suitability for the
    combined procedure.
  • Pre-Procedure and Consent: Clients will be given the opportunity to review all pre-procedure instructions and sign all necessary consents.
  • Anesthesia & Prep: The client will receive oral and local anesthesia and tumescent
solution to numb the treatment area to ensure comfort during the procedure.
  • Incisions: Small incisions are made in discreet locations near the treatment area. These incisions allow for the insertion of a thin probe for BodyTite and a cannula for liposuction.
  • BodyTite (Radiofrequency Skin Tightening): A specialized BodyTite probe is inserted under the skin through one of the incisions. The probe emits controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy, which serves two purposes: it liquefies excess fat cells, making them easier to remove, and it promotes skin tightening.
  • Liposuction: Simultaneously with the BodyTite procedure, a thin cannula is inserted through a separate incision. Liposuction is used to remove the liquefied fat. Liposuction helps to sculpt and contour the treated area more effectively.
  • Skin Tightening: The RF energy from the BodyTite procedure continues to tighten the skin during the process, helping to prevent sagging and achieving a smoother appearance.
  • Closure: The small incisions are closed with sutures or adhesive strips.
  • Morpheus8 RF microneedling – We finish off the procedure by treating the area.

Recovery is typically faster than traditional surgical procedures, with some swelling and bruising that usually subsides within a few days. Prophylactic oral and topical antibiotics for the incision ports may be prescribed at the physician's discretion. Clients can return to normal activities relatively quickly. Depending on the treatment area, downtime can be from 1-2 days to 10 days.

Results

Improvement of the contour may be seen immediately. Over time, the results of the combined BodyTite with liposuction procedure become more noticeable as any post-procedural swelling decreases and the skin continues to tighten. Results improve gradually over 3-12 months. The best results are noticeable after 8 weeks and will continue over the next 12 months.

Side Effects/Complications

Although the following side effects are rare and expected to be transient, any adverse reaction should be immediately reported to our physician. Side effects may include:

  • Discomfort

  • Change of pigmentation (hyper- or hypo-pigmentation)
  • Scarring
  • Infection
  • Nerve Injury:
    • Facial and body nerve branch injury - weakness of affected areas
