Morpheus8 Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is a fractional rejuvenation treatment that combines the collagen-boosting, skin resurfacing techniques of microneedling with skin-tightening fractionated radiofrequency energy to dramatically lift, tone, and tighten your skin. It stimulates the production of collagen and resurfaces the skin producing younger-looking, rejuvenated skin. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant youthful appearance. How does Morpheus8 RF Microneedling Work?
Morpheus8 is a fractional device with programmable penetration depth and energy delivery. The coated matrix of microneedles, penetrate into the sub-dermal tissue, coagulating the fat and contracting connective tissue. Simultaneously, directional RF energy generates bulk sub-necrotic heat in the dermis. Radiofrequency (RF) energy is a scientifically proven method to remodel and rebuild collagen
What to Expect?
Before the treatment, we provide a thorough consultation to understand the patient’s concerns and expectations. Treatment times and frequency will be specifically tailored to obtain optimal results. For the most optimal outcome, we usually recommend a series of three Morpheus8 sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
To begin the procedure, a topical anesthetic is applied to the treatment area. The RF Microneedling handpiece is gently moved over the treatment area delivering radiofrequency energy through tiny pricks into the skin. Treatment times may run about 15 – 60 minutes depending on the treatment area. Clients experience minimal discomfort, but a nerve- block or PRO-NOX, is available for those who need an additional level of comfort.
Morpheus8 RFmicroneedling is safe on skin types include darker pigments with little risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) which is common with other resurfacing methods.
After the treatment your skin will be red and slightly tender, resembling sunburn. There may be visible prick marks that crust and flake off. The mild redness usually dissipates within 24-48 hours depending on the deepness of your treatment. There is very minimal downtime. Most clients return to work or resume social activities after one day.
